Here's our most frequently asked questions for our live events

The webpage freezes when first logging in to the webinar room?

On a rare occasion when logging into the webinar room the page will freeze for a long time (3 minutes or so). If this happens simply click on the refresh button for your browser to re-load the page. The webinar room should then load just fine.

The webinar room is asking me to log in and I need a password?

If your internet connection drops then you may be logged out of the webinar room. In this case you will be prompted to log back in to the event. If this happens then you will need to return to this page and log back in again from here.

I can't type anything into the chat box?

This is normal. One of our room moderators will have disabled chat in the room. We normally do this when a presenter is speaking. You will get a chance to ask questions at the end of the webinar.

I am prompted to allow or deny my webcam and microphone??

If you have a microphone / webcam connected then our webinar room will ask you for permission to use it. If you would like to 'come on stage' and say hello then you will need to click allow when prompted.

I keep getting logged out / disconnected, what can I do?

You need to have a stable internet connection to fully enjoy our webinar events with a minimum of a 2MB broadband connection. If you are experiencing connection problems then, if possible, avoid using wifi and use a wired cable to connect your device to your router.

I've been removed from the webinar? Why and what can I do?

Due to technical reasons we may need to restart the webinar room or remove you from the room (if your webcam stops working for example). All you have to do is re-visit this page and log back into the room again. There is also that 0.001% chance that you were being disruptive or unsociable in our webinar room and you have been banned - in which case you will not be able to log back in.
